(Jacksonville, FL, November 21, 2013) -- Jacksonville-based Katherine Way Collections has been selected as a featured spotlight designer for the January 2014 Moda Manhattan Fashion Show. Katherine Way Collections, created by Jacksonville resident and local business executive Katherine Way, is a line of clothing for women for ages 30-64 designed to be fun, slenderizing, and sophisticated.
“As we approach our one year anniversary, we are thrilled to be recognized by the fashion industry for our innovative designs,” said Way. “Our target audience is an underserved demographic in fashion and our brand has grown tremendously in this first year by providing stylish and age-appropriate clothing.”
The Moda Manhattan fashion show will take place in New York City January 5-7, 2014. Moda Manhattan is an upscale trade event providing a concise mix of carefully juried modern contemporary ready-to-wear collections and showcases some of the most desired names in the industry today.
The Katherine Way Collection includes 14 different styles of dresses and tops. Boutique customers can custom design their products by selecting any style in their choice of 14 colorful and vibrant fabrics. The collection is 100% made in the USA.
The Collection is available in fine boutiques throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, New Jersey, Connecticut and in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. Boutique locations are listed on our website.
About Katherine Way
Katherine Way is the former mastermind behind product launches for some of the biggest Fortune 500 names in the retail industry, and most recently held positions with two Jacksonville-based companies.
In 2011, she served as Vice President, Sales and Retail Marketing, for Natural Life, a wholesale consumer product gift company. Prior to that, she worked as the Director of Retail Marketing for Safariland, a BAE Systems division, and was responsible for driving untapped retail sales through properly merchandised stores.
Way has also been responsible for brand development and marketing for a number of consumer brands including Great American Cookies, Mrs. Fields, and The HoneyBaked Ham.
